Ben jij een gedreven maker zonder atelierruimte, op zoek naar een kans om deel te nemen aan een nieuw collectief? Stichting Dona Daria biedt de mogelijkheid om met vijf andere creatives deel uit te maken van een dynamisch collectief en biedt één jaar gratis atelierruimte aan!

Wat bieden wij:

• 110 m2 atelierruimte in Dona Daria gedeeld onder 6 makers, speciaal gewijd aan het Dona Daria Collectief, inclusief meubilair en startmateriaal. In monumentaal pand toegankelijk via trappen.
• 1 jaar gratis atelierruimte, middels evaluatie kijkend naar vervolg
• Deelname aan een nieuw inspirerend collectief van 6 makers
• Actieve toegang tot het uitgebreide netwerk van Dona Daria
• Promotie vanuit Dona Daria voor jouw kunst en participatie in het collectief
• Workshops en trainingen om je bedrijf als maker te versterken

Wat kun je verwachten:

• Mogelijkheid tot samenwerking met Stichting Dona Daria en andere organisaties
• Leertraject over het starten als maker
• Speciaal netwerkevent voor het collectief, gericht op het versterken van je netwerk in Rotterdam
• Training over het aanvragen van fondsen en subsidies
• Gezamenlijke start van een interdisciplinaire samenwerking met Dona Daria, 2 keer per jaar een kunst/cultuur aanvraag samen maken

Wie zoeken we:

• Makers zonder eigen ruimte
• Creatives die graag vertellen over hun werk en het collectief en hun netwerk willen uitbreiden
• Makers die willen samenwerken met andere makers en Dona Daria
• Beschikbaar van eind februari 2024 tot Maart 2025 om te participeren in het collectief
• geen muziek/dans/theater

Wat verwachten we van jou:

• 1 dag per maand inzet voor Dona Daria (bijvoorbeeld door workshops te ondersteunen)
• Samen de maandelijkse nieuwsbrief creëren en socials voor het collectief onderhouden (minimaal 2 posts per maand)
• Deelnemen aan de startbijeenkomst, netwerkevent(s), workshop(s), 3 tussentijdse evaluaties en 3 meetings over het opzetten van interdisciplinaire samenwerkingen
• Minimaal 1 dag per week werken in het atelier om de ruimte optimaal te benutten
• Samenwerken met de andere makers van het collectief

Hoe meld je je aan:

• Stuur een e-mail vóór 29 januari naar n.jansen@donadaria.nl met als onderwerp: Collectief en Atelier
• In de e-mail: een introductie over jezelf en je werk middels een motivatie(brief), relevante achtergrondinformatie en ervaring, en een toelichting op waarom jij deze kans nodig hebt (tekst of video).

Gesprekken vinden plaats in de eerste weken van februari. We zien je in het prachtige nieuwe atelier op de Gerard Scholtenstraat 129 in Rotterdam

Are you a passionate creator/artists without a studio space, seeking an opportunity to join a new collective? Stichting Dona Daria offers the chance to be part of a dynamic collective with five other creatives and provides one year of free studio space!

What we offer:

• 110 m2 shared studio space at Dona Daria, dedicated to the Dona Daria Collective, accommodating 6 creatives/artists, including furniture and starting materials. In a monumental building accessible via stairs.
• One year of free studio space, with a follow-up evaluation
• Participation in a new inspiring collective of 6 creatives/artists
• Active access to the extensive network of Dona Daria
• Promotion from Dona Daria for your art and involvement in the collective
• Workshops and training to strengthen your business as a maker

What to expect:

• Opportunity for collaboration with Stichting Dona Daria and other organisations
• Learning journey on starting as a maker
• Special networking event for the collective, focused on expanding your network in Rotterdam
• Workshop(s) on applying for funds and subsidies
• Joint initiation of an interdisciplinary collaboration with Dona Daria, creating a cultural grant application twice a year

Who we are looking for:

• creatives/artists without their own space
• Creatives who enjoy sharing their work and the collective, eager to expand their network
• Makers willing to collaborate with others and Dona Daria
• Available from late February 2024 to March 2025 to participate in the collective
• No music/dance/theater disciplines

What we expect from you:

• 1 day per month commitment to Dona Daria (e.g., supporting workshops)
• Collaboratively creating the monthly newsletter and maintaining social media for the collective (at least 2 posts per month)
• Participation in the kick-off meeting, networking event(s), workshop(s), 3 interim evaluations, and 3 meetings on setting up interdisciplinary collaborations
• At least 1 day per week working in the studio to maximize space utilization
• Collaboration with other members of the collective

• In the email: introduce yourself and your work through a motivation (letter), provide relevant background information and experience, and explain why you need this opportunity (text or video).
